Interior Space Design Fundamentals
The creation and organization of spaces and forms are fundamental to human life and activity. Interior environments are shaped by various factors, including anthropometric requirements, functional needs, spatial relationships, social and cultural influences, environmental responsiveness, psychological well-being, lighting, ventilation, structure, symbolism, and economy. Interior design, as a discipline, synthesizes these qualitative and quantitative aspects into a coherent spatial framework through a conscious and systematic design process. This process involves the study and analysis of existing conditions while exploring future possibilities through critical thinking and creative intervention.
