Sub: Misuse of pass percentage statistics issued by the Anna University for the betterment of
the colleges - Instruction Issued - Reg.
As you are aware that pass
percentage statistics
based on the academic performance published in the Anna University website
dated 13.06.2016 is nothing to do
with the ranking of the Affiliated Colleges
but purely based on the academic performance of
the colleges.
It is given to understand that after this publication, some
of
the colleges are taking advantage by using this statistics for the betterment of their colleges through advertisement,
which is erratic and not
accordance with
the
procedure. Hence I request you to desist from this kind of action and extend your cooperation to the University.
If any violation
is noticed,
serious
action will be taken against the .institution concerned.
