EI25C04 Electrical Machines Laboratory – Semester III – EIE / ICE – R-2025

Subject Code & Name: EI25C04 – Electrical Machines Laboratory

Regulation: R-2025

Semester: III (Third Semester)

Branch: B.E. Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering (EIE) / B.E. Instrumentation and Control Engineering (ICE)

Credits / L-T-P: 2 Credits | L-T-P: 0-0-4

Course Objectives

  • The objectives are to obtain the no-load and load characteristics of both D.C. and A.C. machines, and to study the speed characteristics of D.C. motors.
  • Additionally, the aim includes determining the regulation characteristics of A.C. generators and transformers.
  • The control aspects of special machines like stepper motors are also explored.
